Privacy designed around minimization.
This policy explains how the DXLens website and the app currently in development handle device data, optional location, external services, recordings, and contact requests.
Scope
This policy covers the DXLens website and describes the privacy posture of the DXLens app while it is still in development. It will be reviewed again before the production App Store release.
Website data
The website does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may process ordinary network and security information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, request metadata, and security signals.
Data on your device
App settings, filters, favorites, receiver presets, alert rules, logbook entries, and recordings may remain on your device. Exact behavior will be confirmed in the final release documentation.
Optional location
Location is optional and may be replaced with a manual listening location. It is intended to support path, local-time, map, and receiver context, not advertising or cross-app tracking.
External services
Schedule providers, map and environmental services, Apple services, and independently operated public receivers may receive normal network information when you choose to use features that contact them. Their own privacy terms apply.
Recordings and iCloud
Recordings are created locally at your request and are not automatically uploaded to DXLens. Eligible synchronization may use Apple iCloud for supported data after the feature set is finalized.
Advertising and analytics
The current website includes no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. The current product plan does not include a third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK. This statement will be verified against the release build before publication on the App Store.
Your questions and requests
Privacy questions or requests may be sent to privacy@dxlens.app. General support is available at support@dxlens.app.
