Start with the question
Decide what deserves a permanent place in On Air: a language, band, station family, target, path constraint, forecast threshold, or a combination you return to often.
Read the evidence in layers
DXLens deliberately separates schedule truth, technical data, model inputs, current conditions, and the eventual real-world reception. Missing evidence remains missing; uncertainty is not silently converted into confidence.
A schedule is not a signal measurement. A forecast is not a reception guarantee. Public receivers are not operated by DXLens; personal RTL-TCP endpoints are configured by the user.
Take the next action
Open the relevant screen, inspect the source or assumption labels, and make the smallest useful change. Save a Custom view or SDR preset only when the configuration is worth returning to.
