Start with the facts

A shortwave schedule describes a published time, frequency, language, target, and source. A schedule alone does not prove that a transmitter is active or that its signal will reach you.

Add context

Use local time, band, path, and receiver availability as decision aids rather than certainty. Antenna performance, local noise, transmitter state, and moment-to-moment fading still matter.
